Proud Mommy Kati Tait writes about her GORGEOUS little girl...

I am so proud of the accomplishments that my daughter has made in the last couple of weeks. My daughter is 4 years old and in Pre-K. She had difficulty in learning her letters and numbers and could not even spell her name. It broke us as parents because we knew that education starts from home and that it is important for a child to learn these things during their first developmental stages of life. Well I felt like giving up and I came across Kierra Rojas' post about preschool Letter recognition (Click the Link). We did this every other day for 3 weeks so that she would not feel overwhelmed. Well here we are today and she knows how to spell her name CHLOE and we could not be more proud. Thanks to the Dancing letters as she calls them we were able to incorporate something she loves(dancing) with learning.

Ever since then we have started to become more involved with her learning not only at home but at school as well she has been advancing wonderfully. I needed to know why she was not learning anything and after sitting in her classroom for a couple of times. We have learned that her teacher has her sitting on the carpet during leaning time on a square where she is blocked by a student that so much taller than her, so after so many attempts on trying to see what the teacher was showing her and she could not see, she gave up and started focusing on everything else around her. So i requested for her to moved from that corner and placed somewhere she could see. Since then she has been doing so much better. We are so very proud of all the hard work she put in .Not only that but she has so much more confidence in herself that she wants to learn more.

Parents don't give up on your babies. They need us more than we think.

Who could resist this little cutie! Great job Mommy and Chloe! YOU ROCK!
