Gifts Teachers DO NOT WANT!!!

WOW!!! This blog has received so much attention! GREAT! So...here's the thing! THIS blog is not really about what we don't want as educators because well...that's just tacky.

Instead here is a list of things teachers are usually TRULY thankful for (links to those items are included):

1. ANYTHING from the child's heart!

Yes we actually LOVE the handmade, lopsidedly-perfect gifts from our students

2. We love pretty pens!

We always put them down and leave them and hate ourselves a few moments later!

3. Gift certificates

Because we never have much time for ourselves and this gift forces us to take a moment for ourselves

4. Winter Cold Kits

Because your beautiful babies love to share germs!

5. Wine! (Just don't bring it to the school)

6. FOOD!!! Because teachers DO NOT get lunch breaks (there are ALWAYS copies, calls, throw-up awaiting us)

But be careful with home-made food (allergies and preference). Pre packaged is always best

7. Supplies

Classroom, cleaning, etc. Because we can NEVER have enough

8. Things in a cup/jar

Because...it's just FUN! And practical!

9. COFFEE (or tea)!!! ...SOOOO Self-explanatory!

10. A HEARTFELT...THANK YOU

Well...simply put, that's just what we need some days.
